Washington DC: March 20, 2002 : While the Western governments - have been diplomatically 'silent' about the Nazi Germany-like state-sponsored terrorism which has been going on for nearly a month in the BJP-run state of Gujarat, the world's largest castocracy - the socalled artificial entity called INDIA or BHARAT - has been given a 'black eye' among the prosperous minority groups in India who really matter and who can 'sting' - the wealthy Bohras, Ismailis and Memons; the muscular Sikhs and the well-connected Christians - and according to India's leading news magazine, OUTLOOK, the massacres appear to have also divided the prosperous 20 million strong Indian diaspora as never before.
In its March 25, 2002 issue India's OUTLOOK weekly news magazine (carries an article by Sanjay Suri, headlined, "India's lost Stature" which laments the harsh international media coverage and schisms in the diaspora' as a direct result of the Gujarat killings. The magazine reports that, "a shocked foreign media led the sally, articulating their horror through a minuet of images. In London, journalists descended on India House demanding an explanation for the government’s perceived inaction." The UK Indian High Commission spokesman's explanations did not satisfy the media writes the Outlook. The article goes on to say that,"The Financial Times reported that Gujarat has become 'a sort of laboratory for right wing Hindu revivalism.... Gandhi’s philosophy is honoured more in the breach than in the observance'. The New York Times, too, according to OUTLOOK, invoked Gandhi to say that the "violence makes clear that India has work to do to sustain the sectarian harmony that Mohandas K. Gandhi (alias 'Mahatama' Gandhi) the independence leader, championed in Gujarat more than 50 years ago".
Sanjay Suri goes on in his March 25 OUTLOOK article to reveal that a feeling of outrage at the Gujarat massacres and pogrom simmers among the very wealthy and influential Bohra Muslim community in Dubai in the Arabian (Persian) Gulf. Suri writes that, "In Dubai, there was a deafening silence about the Gujarat riots. Underlying it was the fear that there would be a subtle shift in the way Gulf employers would now look at their Hindu employees. There were also apprehensions of witnessing a repeat of the violence that had shook Dubai in the aftermath of the Babri Masjid demolition. Dubai may have remained quiet, yet the feeling of outrage at the carnage simmers among the wealthy Bohras. The Hindu mobs, our neighbours, came for our businesses, tore our factories and shops down, we’ve lost everything due to no fault of ours," laments Shabbir, requesting that only his first name be used. His family, like hundreds of other Bohras here, has extensive business interests in Ahmedabad and Surat in Gujarat state. Shabbir had recently invested in a shopping mall that was completely vandalised. There are other shifts. One Bohra community leader who worked tirelessly for the quake victims of Gujarat last year, without discriminating between Hindu and Muslim, is a changed man. "Any relief I collect now is only going to go to my people," he says. In a riposte to the Bohras, a Hindu-dominated Gujarati association says it too would think twice before sending relief to "anyone and everyone".
Suri also mentions in his article that the Gujarat killings have strained relations in Leicester city, 100 miles north of London, England. He quotes a Gujarati Muslim, one Irfan Rehman, a motor parts dealer from Leicester as saying that the anger in the community, "is some measure of the anxiety the tens of thousands of Gujarati Muslim families in Leicester had about relatives back in Gujarat through the week of rioting. Just when we thought these things are a matter of the past, this had to happen. Our trust in India as a safe land for Muslims was getting so strong, now it will not come back as long as I live."
Sanjay Suri in his Outlook article also states that, "In contrast, Hindu organisations harp on the Godhra incident. Says Ajay Shah, the San Diego-based convenor of the Association of Hindus Against Defamation, "Everyone tried to rationalise the burning of the train and so went and minimised the worth of a Hindu life." Adds Dr Dinesh Agarwal, the Pennsylvania-based president of the Overseas Friends of the Bharatiya Janata Party, "Rather than blaming Hindus for provoking the violence, the media needs to investigate the possibility of this (the alleged February 27 Godhra railway train burning incident) being an act of terrorism against Hindus."
Both Suri in the Outlook magazine (and the Swastika-worshipping Hindu fascists in the United States and Europe, he has quoted above who request media investigation) have ignored the fact that this column - Khalistan Calling, has already investigated the phony Godhra railway station incident in which a 2000 strong armed Muslim mob is supposed to have torched the Sabarmati Express on February 27 which is alleged to have killed 62 holy Hindu VHP pilgrims returning from Ayodhia. Based on information from our sources who were, and are, witness to the happenings in Gujarat this newsletter (Khalistan Calling) condemned and exposed the Hindu perfidy and consipiracy in the BJP-run Gujarat state in its March 06 and March 13, 2002 issues (< http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/main/k_calling/kc03132002.htm > AND < http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/main/k_calling/kc03062002.htm > ) We revealed in the above columns that the socalled Muslim mob attack on the Sabarmati Express train at the Godhra railway station on February 27, 2002 (which 'incident' was used on February 27 as a 'starter signal' by the Gujarat state BJP administration to launch the ongoing state-wide anti-Muslim massacres (and which is now being used to justify the Gujarat massacres of thousands) NEVER took place and that only one bogie (not four) of the train was accidently burnt by an overturned stove inside a compartment where the caste-consious Hindu passengers had been cooking to avoid being defiled. We also identified the agent provocateur and revealed that the train burning rumour, and the massacres it caused, was a result of a deliberate lie by the Godhra district administrator, one Ms. Jayanti Ravi who fanned the ugly rumour of an armed Muslim mob torching four bogies of a train. We are sure no action will be taken by the morally repugnant, Brahmin-caste dominated, central government (or state government) against this female mass murderer as she was only obeying orders of her morally repugnant superiors!
For the record, we want to publicly salute our numerous sources in India (and there are 20 million of us Sikhs living in every nook and corner of the horrible Indian castocracy including Gujarat state) for the impeccable pieces of information they have transmitted to us over the years. As our readers will recall we had earlier mentioned a widely-read book published in the United States, "Reshaping National Intelligence for An Age of Information" by Gregory F. Treverton former Vice Chair of the US National Intelligence Council. On page two of that book (Cambridge University Press - ISBN 0-521 58096 X hardback) the author complimented our May 07, 1998, column for correctly predicting the mid-May 1998 socalled top secret Indian Nuclear test at Pokharan. The book incidently has been recommended as a MUST-read by former US National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and all three former Directors of the CIA (US Central Intelligence Agency) James Schlesinger, Robert M. Gates and James Woolsey. We have mentioned the above to prove the 'track-record' of our sources in India, and to steel our demand for exposure, legal action and punishment of the guilty Godhra district Administrator cum mass murderer, Ms. Jayanti Ravi. This evil person's lies and actions, according to our sources, have caused the orchestrated massacres, (by Hindu mobs led by BJP thugs) of nearly two thousand innocent Muslims in India's Gujarat state by last count. This holocaust may yet cause the retaliatory expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Indians gainfully employed in the Muslim Middle East, Malaysia and North Africa where the governments unfortunately (and mistakenly) label us monotheistic and egalitarian Sikhs as caste-ridden polytheistic Hindus.
