Raj Karayga Khalsa; Sikhs will rule - to create a sovereign, democratic, egalitarian Sikh buffer state of KHALISTAN in South Asia, stretching from the Jumna river on the East, to the Pakistan border on the West, China on the Northeast and Kashmir on the North, playing its God-given role of a granary for countries of Central Asia and acting as a 'bridge of prosperity' between Central and South Asia.* Please E-mail or FAX newsletter

Washington DC: March 26, 2003:
Ignoring protests by an assortment of "secular" political parties and organisations (and synchronized with Sunday's suspicious, nay orchestrated, Nadimarg massacre of 24 Hindu Pundits in Kashmir) the Neo-Nazi Hindutva-fundamentalist BJP (the 'other-in-law' of the RSS murderers who assassinated Mr. M. K. Gandhi in 1948) went ahead today, as is its wont, with a four-pronged rathyatra across Assam, a la Gujarat, to mobilise support for the BJP's anti/minority campaign, which targets the Illegal Migrants (Determination by Tribunals) Act.This BJP-led agitation - rathyatra - in Assam, we believe, will become a prelude to an anti/Muslim (anti-Bangladeshi) pogrom in North Eastern India. By a strange coincidence - or is it? - last Sunday's unexplained and mysterious massacre of 24 Hindus in Kashmir by gunmen in Indian army uniforms (a la the March 2000 Sikh massacre in Chitthisinghpura) will come in very handy for the BJP spin masters to arouse anger among the Hindutva crowd in Assam and other states of Eastern India.
The raths will roll out today from the four corners of Assam - Sadiya, Jonai, Karimganj and Dhubri - from where the Assam BJP unit is all set to kick off the 'Jana Jagaran Yatra' to mobilise people against the danger posed by socalled unabated illegal migration of Muslim Bangladeshis into Eastern India. According to a report in today's (March 25, 2003) Calcutta-based English language newspaper, The Telegraph, the BJP raths will along the way, "highlight the "twin problems of infiltration and increased ISI (Pakistani intelligence) activity" in the state. See: >
http://www.telegraphindia.com/archives/archive.html <The newspaper reports that the influential All-Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and organisations representing the minorities fear that the yatra will cause friction between communities - read a communal bloodbath a la Gujarat state. "Sources claim that the IM(DT) Act is just a pretext as the BJP actually intends to rake up issues that spark communalism as its (BJP's) support base is dwindling." United Minority Front (UMF) president Hafiz Rashid Choudhury said that a rathyatra to mobilise public opinion against the IM(DT) Act was irrelevant at this juncture because the issue had already been taken up by the Supreme Court. "The matter is sub judice. We cannot fathom what such yatras will achieve apart from fomenting communal tension," he said.
Hafiz Rashid Choudhury, the UMF leader, criticised the Congress government for allowing the BJP to go ahead with its "jana jagaran yatras". The party had asked the state government not to allow the BJP to undertake any programme that could cause tension in the state. "We submitted a representation to chief minister Tarun Gogoi in December and sent a reminder a few weeks ago, but he has not responded. The Congress government seemingly lacks the sincerity and courage to counter the communal designs of the BJP," the UMF president said. The UMF is opposed to the idea of scrapping the IM(DT) Act, which it views as a "foolproof" legislation devised to protect minorities from discrimination in the name of detecting and deporting illegal migrants.
The Assam Tribune, a Guhawti-based Eastern Indian English language newspaper, let the cat (of official sponsorship) out of the bag when it quoted the State BJP spokesman, Dhruba Baishya, as saying that the Union minister for Development for North Eastern Regions, Dr. C. P. Thakur, will inaugurate the yatra at Karimganj, while Union minister of State for Water Resources, Bijoya Chakraborty, will do it in Dhubri. Union minister of State for Human Resources Development, Smt Jaskaur Mina, will inaugurate the yatra at Sadiya while another Minister of State, Sanghapriya Gautam, will be present at Jonai. The yatra from four directions will converge on Guwahati on Apruil 07, 2003, in the form of a mass rally which will be addressed by the party president Venkaiah Naidu and that thug, Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi.
The state BJP claims that the yatra is aimed at mobilising mass support for its demand for scrapping the IM(DT) Act. The state BJP believes that such a yatra will be instrumental in creating awareness among the masses about the danger posed by the unabated infilteration to the identity and economy of the state populace. Sources, who are in the know, believe the BJP is trying to get a foothold in Assam by taking the lead in the now unpopular IM(DT) Act issue which legislation was devised to protect the minorities - mainly Assamese Muslim - from discrimination in the name of detecting and deporting illegal immmigrants.
WE believe today's BJP rathyatra is a prelude to a state-sponsored pogrom which is being organised by the BJP, something we had predicted way back on May 03, 2001, in our column headlined, "India's Brahmin-Fundamentalist rulers plan to target Assamese and Bengali Muslims a la the 1984 Anti/Sikh pogroms." http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/Main/K_Calling/kc05032001.htm <It is a foregone conclusion that today's BJP rathyatra in Assam will draw an emotional response and maximum attention as a result of the Sunday night's senseless, cold blooded and unexplained murder of 24 Kashmiri Hindu Pundits massacred, Al Capone style, by over a dozen Kashmiri-speaking armed men in Indian army uniforms in village Nadimarg, a remote police-protected village
in the south Kashmir Kulgam-Shopian belt, 70 Kilometers from Srinagar the state capital. Jammu-based newspaper, Daily Excellsior, quoting official sources on March 25, 2003, said that, "a group of 10 to 15 militants in Army fatigues descended on Nadimarg at 2230 hours last night. They described themselves as men from Rashtriya Rifles and asked the residents to assemble for a cordon-and-search operation. They also collected weapons of the 9-member Police guard which unit offered no argument or resistance. After a while, the gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on the gathering of the Pandits, who had assembled under a Chinar tree. As many as 24 died on the spot and two more escaped..." See: > http://www.dailyexcelsior.com/web1/03mar25/index.html <All the nine policemen on guard in the village escaping unhurt miraculously without a scratch is too much of a 'miracle' so
we have checked with our sources in Indian occupied Kashmir where the Sikh community has had a presence for centuries. It turns out that the policemen were in cahoots with the assassins who were uniformed Indian army operatives riding Indian army vehicles and knew one another. State-sponsored terrorism Indian style! Ms. Barbara Crossette, a senior Editor of the New York Times and research associate at Columbia University's Southern Asian Institute who was a correspondent for seven years in India writes about the official Indian policy of covering up embarrassments with elaborate propaganda facades. In her book, "INDIA- Facing the Twenyfirst Century," she writes on page 102 about a mass rape by the Indian army in February 1991 in the Kashmiri village of Kunan Poshpora which was covered up by Governor Girish Sexena - who still rules in Kasmir as Governor - with some 'fallacious facts'. She has not commented in her book on orchestrated state-sponsored 'incidents of terrorism' similar to the March 2003 mass murder in Nadimarg and the March 2000 mass murder of Sikhs in Chitthisinghpura but has expressed her pain on the official Indian policy of trying to 'rewrite the story'.The circumstances of the latest orchestrated outrage in Indian occupied Kashmir, described above, are eerilly similar to the March 2000, massacre of 35 Sikhs in Chitthisinghpura village by a platoon of gunmen in Indian army uniforms. That Al Capone style massacre too was synchronised with the start of President Bill Clinton's state visit to India. See Khalistan Calling dated March 21, 2000, headlined, "Fingerprints of Indian Intelligence agencies all over the Chitthisinghpura Sikh massacre" at: >
http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/Main/K_Calling/kc03212000.htm < and Khalistan Calling dated April 11, 2000, headlined, "Rogue elements of Indian Agency were behind the Chitthisinghpurs Sikh massacre says Kashmir Chief minister Abdullah", > http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/Main/K_Calling/kc04112000.htm < and Khalistan Calling dated April 18, 2000, headlined, "President Clinton Condoles March 20 Chitthisinghpura Sikh massacre", > http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/Main/K_Calling/kc04182000.htm <The only difference between the two massacres - one in March 2000 and the other last week - is that this time in Nadimarg the assassins murdered 24 women and children along with the men who were all Kashmiri Hindus. Last time in March 2000 the 'uniformed' assassins had spared the women in the Chitthisinghpura massacre in which the 35 victims were all Sikh males. Rest of the modus operandi is the same including the synchronization with a (volatile) political event inside the country - the Rath Yatras in Assam which will now draw crowds of angry Hindus and in all probability will result in a blood bath, a la Gujarat, the benefit of which will go to the BJP in the ensuing elections. The Indian rulers also want to draw the world attention busy with the US attack on Iraq on socalled cross-border terrorism bogey in Kashmir by blaming Pakistan for the socalled massacre. Some democracy!
These horrible shenanigans should remind any political science student of the presciently words of Mr. Winston Churchill, when he forecast a ferocious ethnic war in India, (in comments to Lord Lytton in 1930) and is reported to have said that, "handing over power to the Hindus (whom he described as, 'a foul race protected by their polution from the doom that is their due') would reduce India to the deepest depths of Oriental tyranny and despotism." The Hindutva-fundamentalist BJP, dominated by a triad of Brahmin caste Neo-Nazis septuagenarians, is proving the presciently Mr. Churchill right about India which he used to say, 'is as much a country as the Equator.'
