Khalistan Calling newsletter dated April 09, 2003
The three million strong diaspora Sikhs, unlike their 21 million compatriots captive in India, are free and prosperous and they are determined - as they believe it is their destiny and pray for it every day;
Raj Karayga Khalsa; Sikhs will rule - to create a sovereign, democratic, egalitarian Sikh buffer state of KHALISTAN in South Asia, stretching from the Jumna river on the East, to the Pakistan border on the West, China on the Northeast and Kashmir on the North, playing its God-given role of a granary for countries of Central Asia and acting as a 'bridge of prosperity' between Central and South Asia.* Please E-mail or FAX newsletter

: Last Sunday's public confrontation in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, between an anguished father, Vithalbhai, (whose politician son had been murdered on March 26, 2003) and the visiting Indian Deputy Prime minister Lal Krishna Advani (who solved three crimes in one day - Hindu headlined, " Agencies hads achieved a breakthrough.") is symptomatic of the 'deepest depths of Oriental tyranny and despotism' prevalent today in India something which Mr. Winston Churchil had predicted long ago (in 1930) when he warned that, "handing over power to the Hindus (whom he described as, 'a foul race protected by their polution from the doom that is their due') would result in mayhem and ferocious ethnic wars." Are ethnic wars in India brewing at this point in time? Yes. Sikhs, Christians and Muslims better beware and prepare themselves!According to eye-witness accounts, later confirmed by the Calcutta newspaper, The Telegraph, (>
http://www.telegraphindia.com/1030407/asp/nation/story_1849225.asp < "Father's wrath singles Advani",) and the Chennai English language newspaper, The Hindu, (> http://www.thehindu.com/2003/04/07/stories/2003040702751100.htm <) "Justice could not be done to Pandya: Advani,") and other Indian newspapers, a shameful confrontation took place last Sunday in Ahmedabad at a public meeting held to condole the assassination of BJP rising political star, Haren Pandya, whose gangland style 'contract' street murder in broad daylight some days ago had Chief minister Narendra Modi's finger prints all over it.The guest of honour Indian deputy Prime minister
Lal Krishna Advani - no saint himself - spoke up for "justice" belatedly, but was swept away in the torrent of raging grief of slain BJP leader Haren Pandya’s father, Vithalbhai, who shouted, "I blame you. You are also responsible for what happened to my son. You kept quiet and allowed the party to be monopolised by one Ravana," the 76-year-old father told Advani as the deputy Prime Minister went up to the elder Pandya to console him after the condolence meeting. The "Ravana" (read Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi) the grieved father, Vithalbhai, had accused of the murder sat stone-faced (when Advani delivered his confession, meant as much to be a rebuke to Modi as public admission of a mistake) right through Vithalbhai’s emotional address.In his speech, Advani made the first public attempt by the BJP leadership to apologise for denying the late Haren Pandya a ticket in the last Assembly poll. "Today, as a senior leader of the party, I admit with a heavy heart that we did injustice to Pandya." Mr. Advani was talking about the time the leadership had succumbed to Chief minister Narendra Modi’s pressure to not nominate Pandya.
For this reticence, Advani faced the wrath of a man who had lost his son. Advani did not utter a word. However, former Gujarat Chief minister, Keshubhai Patel, came to Advani's rescue, but said the late Pandya was a "victim of vindictiveness'. He apparently was referring to the way Mr. Modi stood his ground to refuse Pandya the ticket because the former Minister Pandya had refused to vacate his Ellisbridge seat in favour of the Chief Minister. His role at that time, he said, was like "Dronacharya and Bheeshma pitamaha" who could not do anything in the interest of the party. Patel however pacified the angry father and told him that he should not embarrass the deputy Prime Minister who had admitted the mistake. "Having realised our mistake, the party was in the process of rehabilitating him (Pandya) before this unfortunate incident took place," Advani had said, referring to the initiative to give Pandya a central leadership position.
The "Ravana" (Modi) Vithalbhai accused sat stone-faced - first when Advani delivered his confession, meant as much to be a rebuke to Modi as public admission of a mistake - and then through the grieving father, Vithalbhai’s emotional address. The meeting began badly for Modi with Vithalbhai refusing to share the dais with him and Advani, and Keshubhai Patel, the chief minister’s rival, indirectly accusing Modi of displaying a "vindictive attitude" even after Pandya’s death. "Hurdles were created for those who wanted to hold condolence meetings," he said.
Speaking next, Vithalbhai said: "My son… was a dedicated party worker but he was not a politician and he never hankered after any position or ill-gotten money. I’m proud of my son... Please, do not defame my son."
"It is not a coincidence that my son was killed just a day after he was nominated to the party’s national executive," Vithalbhai said, stressing that it was "political murder" to eliminate a rising rival.Holding his composure, Chief Minister 'Ravana' Modi, who last year supervised the pogrom in which two thousand innocents from a minority community were murdered, tried to convey the impression that he was close to Pandya. "I would fill his nomination forms when he contested civic and Assembly elections," he said. "A true homage to Pandya would be to catch the culprits who murdered him," Modi added.
As if the above described episode was not bad enough India's Deputy Prime minister and Police minister, Lal Krishna Advani (who incidently has been wanted on a murder charge for the past fifty years himself in Hyderabad, Pakistan) had the
chutzpah to claim that, "investigative agencies had achieved a breakthrough in solving the Haren Pandya murder case, Mumbai train blasts and the Nadimarg massacre of Pundits in Indian occupied Kashmir. According to a April 07 HINDU newspaper's special correspondent's report from Ahmedabad, (> http://www.thehindu.com/2003/04/07/stories/2003040702741100.htm < " Advani claims breakthrough",) Deputy Prime minister Lal Krishan Advani, "although not naming the killers hinted that Pandya's killers are the same terrorist gang responsible for the Nadimarg massacre and the Mumbai train blasts." Some liar this L. K. Advani.According to our sources in Indian occupied Kashmir however, the
March 24, 2003, Nadimarg massacre of 24 peace-loving Kashmiri Pundits was carried out by Indian security personnel in Indian army uniforms who had received a 'wink and a nod' from the highest in the land who wanted to use the orchestrated incident to arouse sympathy in the Western countries and arrange a pogrom against socalled Bangladeshis in Assam, in Indian occupied North Eastern India. The accusing fingers point at Indian Deputy Prime minister L. K. Advani. Orchestrated massacres - we Sikhs have been targets of atleast four such incidents in Indian-held Kashmir, since the March 2000 Chitthisinghpurs Sikh massacre - is an old Indian trick as it is obvious no illegal band of uniformed armed thugs can walk around freely in a disturbed area like Indian-held Kashmir which is monitored by more than a half million strong Indian army of Occupation.In last week's Khalistan Calling we had suggested a rethink by the US Assistant Secretary of State, Lorne Craner, (>
http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/Main/K_Calling/kc04022003.htm <) who did a fairly good job with the State Department's 2002 Human Rights Report. This week we again urge the US State Department to closely read the writings on the wall to not only examine the thugish behaviour of the Neo-Nazi Indian Hindutva-fundamentalist ruling coalition in India, where ordering a murder of a prominient political rival is just as easy as arranging a massacre of 24 helpless Pundits both common place in the socalled Indian democracy. ( See> http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/Main/K_Calling/kc03262003.htm <) India, which is masquerading as a democracy and where a witches brew of lies, murders, massacres is always 'a boiling' is really 'as much a country as the Equator' to quote Mr. Winston Churchill and the U.S. State Department should take pause before describing it as a democracy in its documents, reports, press briefings and correspondence.KHALISTAN ZINDABAD
