About KAC
Khalistan - Affairs Center (KAC) was created under a mandate by the Panthic Committee to promote the vision and creation of a sovereign Sikh state. Dr. Amarjit Singh, a renowned public servant and experienced strategist, appointed as the Panthic committee spokesman in the West, was chartered to lead KAC. The Center focuses its activities on advocacy for Khalistan as well as awareness of atrocities committed by the Indian State against Sikhs.
The Center's program areas are:
• Propaganda Watch Taskforce
• "Why Khalistan?" Educational Initiative
• Documentation of Disappearances, Torture, and Encounters
• Research and advocacy on India's role in Punjab's socio-economic problems
• "Remember Yesterday, Look towards Tomorrow" Youth Initiative
Dr. Amarjit Singh is an accomplished orator and historian. He is regularly invited to address congregations and Educational institutions of higher learning throughout America and Canada. He is has served as panelist on conferences ranging on topics from theology to genocide and regarded as an eminent voice for the Sikh community. As editor - in - chief of Chardhi Kala newspaper, Dr. Amarjit Singh, writes a weekly column Khalistan Calling in English and Punjabi, addressing current events in South Asia.
KAC continues to advocate for the Sikh Homeland and holds dear the martyrs who selflessly have given their lives for its creation. The Indian State has killed Over 200,000 Sikhs over the past 20 years without any hope of foreseeable justice. No exact number is possible since no independent group like Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, or KAC is allowed in Punjab to document the carnage that has been hidden for the world. Khalistan is the only solution to curb future atrocities against the Sikhs and to put an end to the current colonial policies instituted by the Indian State in Punjab.
