Dara Singh, Murderer of Australian Missionary Sneers at the Christian World on Indian TV

Fascist Thugs in that hapless land have the Indian Government’s ‘Wink and a nod’.

 



Washington, D.C., Wednesday, April 07, 1999 - Every passing day strengthens to the charge that the Vajpayee government in India is giving tacit support to the Vishwa Hindu Parshad (VHP), the Bajrang Dal and other fringe Hindu fascist forces (on whose support its political base rests) who are behind the violence unleashed against the peaceful Christian minority in the world’s largest Castocracy – India. The latest episode, the Australian government may want to note – is the brazen April 2 interview on Indian television of absconder Dara Singh the main accused in the horrible arson/killing of Australian missionary Dr. Graham Stewart Staines, and his two minor sons, in India’s Orissa state on Saturday January 23, 1999 more than ten weeks ago.

According to the HINDUSTAN TIMES a prestigious English language Delhi newspaper of April 6, 99; "Free – lance journalist Binay Bhushan Patnaik, who interviewed Dara Singh, the main accused in the killing of the Australian missionary Graham Stewart Staines and his two sons, has been detained by the police for interrogation. Sources said that he has gone on hunger strike in jail to protest against his detention. Mr. Patnaik was picked up by the police early this morning from his residence at Koenjhar." The Hindustan Times story, headlined; "Journalist who interviewed Dara detained" goes on to narrate that; "The police began questioning him soon after his interview with Dara Singh was telecast on TV, Mr. Patnaik has stated that his was just a chance meeting which took place in Judia Hill area. The police have launched a fresh manhunt for Dara Singh." Some manhunt! Some Castocracy!

Interestingly the day the accused Dara Singh was being honored on Indian Television another English language prestigious Indian newspaper India Express’s ‘inside sources’ probably revealed that; "The investigating team associated with the Wadhwa Commission of Inquiry into the brutal murder of Australian missionary Graham Staines and his two sons, will submit its preliminary report to the Commission Chairman Justice D. P. Wadhwa on Saturday". It may be recalled that the Commission was appointed in January 99 to; "ascertain facts and circumstances leading to Staines’s murder and also to probe whether an organization or group was behind the incident in which the father – sons trio were burnt alive while sleeping in their van." According to the Indian Express of April 4, 99, "the Commission has not focused on tracking down the main accused Dara Singh". The Indian Express reported that the Wadhwa commission was supposed to submit its report by March end but could not function properly for almost two months as it has not been allotted office space. Some Commission of Inquiry!

Readers may recall – KHALISTAN CALLING of February 18, 99 – that this column took umbrage at the Chutzpa of India’s roly poly Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Naresh Chandra’s statement to the Washington Times of February 16, 99 in the Embassy Row column that; "foreign meddling into an outbreak of violence against India’s Christians is making matters worse" for the oppressed Christian minority. The Ambassador’s blackmail was dutifully followed by the Deputy Ambassador at the Indian Embassy, one T. P. Sreenivasan, who also used the Washington Times Embassy Row Column (on March 22, 99) to spread the lie that "there have been NO attacks on Christians in India since the end of January 1999." And had the effrontery to create a Christian organization called; "National Association of Christians in the USA" a body no one knows anything about – for details see KHALISTAN CALLING of March 25, 99.

Christian organizations, and Churches in the United States and Canada are reminded once again that a low key approach is a wrong approach when you are dealing with Hindu Brahmin fascists who have tasted power for the first time in over a thousand years in South Asia. For them the Nazi Swastika is a religious icon and their whole social economic and political order is based on the Caste system from which there is no escape. That is why these Brahmins are orchestrating these attacks on the Indian Christians. Most of these Christians are human beings who sought relief from the tyranny of the Caste, Brahmin and the Bania in the monotheistic religious of Christianity, Sikhism and Islam. These cowardly Brahmin fascists have to be dealt with firmly if anyone wants  to save the over twenty million Indian Christians.
