Will India Carry Out New Nuclear Tests at Pokharan the Day Pakistan Signs the CTBT?
YES, say our sources who monitor nighttime activity near India's Pokharan Nuclear Test Site
Washington, D.C., Tuesday, September 14, 1999 - Our always reliable sources in India – and we have quite a few of them – tell us that Delhi’s crafty Brahmin rulers, (sitting comfortably behind the ‘alibi’ of the Indian General election) are hoping that economically hard pressed Pakistan will succumb to Western pressures and sign the CTBT (Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty) during the September 99 U.N. General Assembly session in New York.Such a signature by Pakistan will entail (according to a US spokesperson quoted by usually truthful Brahma Chellaney in the Hindustan Times of August 25, 99) a number of restrictions. We repeat the quote verbatim as we Sikhs too want the same for both India and Pakistan: "What we are looking for is not only a signature and ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, but an overall prudent posture of restraints covering nuclear weapons and missile delivery systems. These additional steps include a halt to production of bomb – usable fissile material, restraints on missile development and keeping warheads and missiles separate."
Just a Pakistani surrender alone on CTBT in September 99 as a result of Western threats, without India simultaneously doing the same, is not what we Sikhs, whose Indian occupied Homeland of Punjab is threatened by Nuclear devastation and Brahmin oppression, want. Such an occurrence will give Delhi a great opportunity to undo Pakistan. The Brahmin India rulers will get enough time – a la France – to perfect their Nuclear weapon’s design with a series of Nuclear tests before Western pressures force Indian also to sign on the CTBT dotted line. Delhi will willingly do that after having perfected its Nuclear weapons design and having destabilized (or even shattered) its arch enemy Pakistan where Sikh -–friendly Nawaz Sharif government will be the first casuality of the outrage of the Pakistan people who will not understand that their country CANNOT (after signing the CTBT) match tit for tat the new Indian tests as the Western Powers will make it another Iraq. Both countries therefore, should simultaneously sign the CTBT and banish Nuclear weapons introduced into South Asia by India.
Readers may recall that more than a year ago in the May 7, 1998 issue of the Charhdi Kala Weekly (Vol.13 No. 19) this column accurately predicted India’s May 11,98 Nuclear tests which took the US Administration by surprise The NewYork Times was kind enough to highlight the U.S. State Department’s left – handed tribute, tribute none-the-less, to this column which NYT report is printed below lest history repeat itself and the fascist Swastika – worshipping India’s Brahmin rulers surprise the U. S. State Department once again with a few more Nuclear tests.
Last year a few days after the Pokharan tests a Russian Defense expert closely linked to the Indian Nuclear program (who had prior knowledge of the May 11, 98 Pokharan Nuclear tests by India) had confirmed, what was generally known in scientific circles, that India nuclear testing exercise had NOT ended as the Pakistani Nuclear blasts had preempted Delhi’s plans and political will. The Russian was quoted by the Mommersant Daily, a Moscow newspaper, as having said that; "India has to conduct four more tests in order perfect its nuclear weapons."
Our sources in Rajasthan – and there are thousands of Sikhs engaged in agriculture, transportation and trade in that part of the country – have kept an eye on the enemy’s goings and comings on the road leading to the restricted Pokharan Nuclear Test site located seventy miles from the Pakistani border in Sikh Punjab’s backyard. Our sources report a recent splurge in army purchase of dairy products and vegetables and increase in feverish telltale night activity in the Pokharan Test site vicinity. Tourists who speak English with a strange accent have also been spotted shopping for jewelry in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Pokharan obviously has been readied for a nuclear test with help of some "Foreign Friends" who want to circumvent the CTBT by testing their device in Pokharan. As the morally repugnant Swastika-worshipping BJP leadership in India is banking on a Pakistani surrender on the CTBT. It is hoped that the current pro-Sikh Nawaz Sharif government in Pakistani is aware of the above dangers and will avoid a September ambush in New York. More than that, we Sikhs hope that Sikh friend Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who has our best wishes, will sign the CTBT ONLY when India agrees to simultaneously sign the document.
