Musings on the ongoing nation-wide Sikh protests in India against the phony Sirsa Baba whose bodyguards murdered Balkar Singh outside a Mumbai shopping mall

Washington, D.C., Wednesday, June 25, 2008 - Just imagine that in India, (2007 population estimate: 1, 129, 866, 154) which trumpets that it is the world’s largest ‘democracy’, with the inherent right of the people to protest, the small Sikh minority (23 million) can’t even protest the cold-blooded murder last Friday, in Mumbai, of a 40-year old innocent Sikh, Balkar Singh, without the whole community being publicly threatened.

Sikhs can’t even protest Balkar Singh’s murder by the hired goons of a phony ‘god-man’, (an agent provocateur and a rapist in the pay of Indian Intelligence agencies) without being reminded - nay threatened - by a powerful right wing Hindu mafia chief that the November 1984 bloody state-sponsored program, (in which over ten thousand innocent Sikh men, women and children were mercilessly murdered across India) would be repeated if the Sikhs continued with their protests. Some evil demoNcracy INDIA!

The 82 years old ‘god-father’ of the Right wing, Mumbai-headquartered Neo-Nazi, thuggish  Shiv Sena, Bal Thackeray, (an open admirer of that infamous German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler who ordered the genocide of six million Jews; 1889-1945), on Sunday, warned the minority Sikh community, in a strongly-worded statement, front-paged by party organ, Saamna, against protesting the Friday murder of a Sikh bystander, one Balkar Singh, by the private bodyguards of that phony Sirsa Baba, Ram Rahim Singh, who came all the way from Haryana to a Mumbai suburban mall to shop for underwear and some shoes. Bal Thackeray’s ‘in-your-eye’ provocative statement said, ‘the Sikhs should ask their elders about the Delhi riots in case they had forgotten about them’. It was the Shiv Sena which had protected Sikhs in Mumbai, the statement said, during the riots (pogrom) which followed the assassination of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in November 1984. "The open display of swords, forced closure of shops and vandalizing (>  http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/Chandigarh/File_Sena_chief_We_will_hit_back_if_Sikhs_repeat_act/articleshow/3154526.cms <) of railway property have angered Thackeray and his son Uddhav,” said a Times of India report, dated 22 June, 2008,  headlined, ‘Sena Chief: We will hit back if Sikhs repeat act.’ Sources in the Shiv Sena said menacingly that party activists would not remain mute spectators if the Sikhs resorted to violence in future.

According to another Times of India report Sirsa Dera ‘Sacha’ Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh visited Nirmal Lifestyle, one of Mumbai's plushest suburban malls, on Friday evening. But on his shopping list were very modest items of daily use like innerwear and shoes. Mall spokespersons told the newspaper on Saturday that Ram Rahim Singh, (who likes to be called, ‘His Holiness Huzoor Sant Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh Ji Maharaj’ the third Master)    followed by an entourage of around 100 people, visited several shops. Several women and children were part of the large group but they were outnumbered heavily by men who brandished firearms. Ram Rahim's first stop at the Mulund mall was an outlet selling clothes. "He bought some innerwear here," a shop spokesperson said. His next stop was a big shoe chain where he bought four pairs of shoes.

A senior Mumbai Police officer was quoted by a Times of India report as having said that on Saturday, ‘One of the three arrested for the killing of a Sikh in a firing by bodyguards of Dera ‘Sacha’ Sauda chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, on Friday, has confessed to having fired a round from his pistol at the Sikh crowd. He said that,  (>     http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India/File_Dera_chief_aide_admits_firing_at_Sikh_mob/articleshow/3152278.cms   <) Jagdev Singh Gurdev Singh has confessed to having opened fire from his licensed Mauser pistol’. Meanwhile, police suspect that one more person, apart from Jagdev Singh Gurdev Singh had fired as two empty shells of a 0.9 mm round were also found at the scene of crime on the L B S Marg. Reconstructing the sequence of events on Friday, the Police officer said that, “two persons, including the deceased Balkar Singh and Thakur Singh, got into a tiff with the Dera head's staff as they were not allowed entry into a shop. Later, when the Dera chief left the mall in a motorcade, the duo's car happened to come near it after which some of the Baba’s escort staff got down from their jeeps armed with sticks. They allegedly broke the windshield of Thakur Singh’s car and in the melee Jagdev Singh Gurudev Singh, (a thug in the Sirsa Baba’s entourage) is suspected to have fired his pistol. The incident has led to protests by the local Sikh community who put up road and rail blockades in and around Mulund on Friday evening. The Mumbai protests have been followed by sympathy demonstrations by angry Sikhs all over India, from Kolkotta in the East to Bangalore, Nanded and Hyderabad in the South and most towns and cities in the Sikh Homeland of Punjab – Khalistan – and neighboring Haryana where the criminal Baba is headquartered in a town called Sirsa under government protection.

Facing angry demonstrations by Sikh organizations all over the country, Dera ‘Sacha’ Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh reached Sirsa, (in Haryana) according to the HINDU newspaper, in a chartered helicopter on Monday instead of coming in a cavalcade of vehicles like he usually does. The latest spate of protests against him started after his bodyguard shot dead a Sikh protester at a mall in Mumbai. Faced with possible trouble in Mumbai, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh had rushed to Mysore, in Karnataka, late on Saturday evening and stayed there overnight. He was provided with a heavy security cover there following disturbances in Mumbai and other places. As unrest started to grow over his stay in Karnataka, authorities shifted him to a secret location in the state. The Dera chief has set up a camp on the outskirts of Mysore where a building of the Dera will be constructed. Sources said 2.5 acres of land have been purchased near Siddalingapura for this purpose. Sources added the Dera chief later reached Bangalore from Mysore by a chartered helicopter and reached Delhi by air on Monday morning. The helicopter in which he reached Sirsa was hired from Delhi. Sources in the Dera said it was for the first time that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh had come to Sirsa by a helicopter. Earlier, when he traveled by road in his cavalcade, the Dera chief used the stopovers to address congregations at 'naam charcha bhawans' constructed in almost all towns of the state. Sources said his confidants had feared angry demonstrations by Sikhs if he had come by road.

In the meantime the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Monday demanded a (>  http://www.tribuneindia.com/2008/20080624/nation.htm#8   <) judicial probe into the killing of a city-based Sikh man allegedly by the bodyguards of Dera ‘Sacha’ Sauda Chief, Ram Rahim Singh, last week. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, SGPC President Avtar Singh Makkar, said that they have submitted a memorandum to this effect to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R. R. Patil last night. Makkar also said that the SGPC had demanded that the Dera chief be booked for Balkar Singh's murder. The SGPC is satisfied by the action taken by Maharashtra in handling the situation, he said. Fourteen persons have been arrested so far. Makkar said, Patil has assured that the twenty seven Sikhs arrested during protests after 40-year-old's killing would be let off. He said the protests following the murder were spontaneous as the Sikh community was outraged at the killing of an innocent unarmed person.

For the benefit of new readers of this column, who may not have read our 23 May, 2007, expose` (>  /home/khalistancalling/2007/may23.aspx   <) of the criminal activities of the rapist Baba of Sirsa, who calls himself, “His Holiness Huzoor Sant Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh Ji Maharaj – the Third Master,” is in order. The ‘Sucha’ Soda Dera was founded in 1948, by a Hindu refugee from Pakistan, one Shri Khemamal, who was born in 1891 in Kalat, Baluchistan, to Shrimati Tulsa Bai and Shri Pillamal of the Kashatriya caste according to the Sacha Sauda Dera website.  (> http://www.sachasauda-truthandmyth.com/knowmore.htm >) In the early 1950’s Shri Khemamal came in contact with Indian intelligence agencies, and lo and behold, succeeded in building 25 ashrams in quick time on evacuee property lands and ruled the roost, as Shehanshah Mastana Ji Maharaj, (the First Master) till his death on 18 April, 1960. A few days prior to his death a successor, Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, (the Second Master) took over the ‘Sucha’ Sauda Dera. In the decades of 1980’s & 1990’s, during the Punjab insurgency, just before the death of Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj, Indian Intelligence was on the lookout to hire an influential agent provocateur who could divide the members of the Sikh community (which was united as one under the Khalistan banner) and weaken its faith, in its religion, as well as its aspiration for a Democratic buffer state of Khalistan. The roving eye and largess of Indian intelligence fell upon the present head of the ‘Sucha’ Sauda Dera, ‘His Holiness Huzoor Sant Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh Ji Maharaj’, (born 1967) who was ‘discovered’ in Rajasthan. The then 23 year old took over the ‘Sucha’ Sauda Dera, on 23 September, 1990, as the Third Master, with a covert agenda to ‘marry’ the simple ceremonies of the monotheistic Sikh faith with scores of rituals of polytheistic Hinduism and ‘free love’ rituals of the late Bhagwan Rajneesh alias Osho.

The ‘free love’ orgies at the Sacha Souda Dera did not go unnoticed and on 24 September, 2002, the Punjab and Haryana High Court ordered India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the ‘Sacha’ Sauda Dera and its head for the murder of a journalist, Ram Chandra Chatrapati and also look into reports of sexual exploitation of over forty five female sex-slaves who were being held captive at the Dera. The court in September 2002 gave the CBI six months to complete the inquiry. Needless to say nearly six years have gone by and the CBI inquiry is not yet complete or is pigeon-holed. (> http://cbi.nic.in/PressReleases/PRelease2005/sadhvi.htm  <) Obviously influence & or bribes are working, which is typical in India? (For gory details read article dated Dec. 21, 2002, headlined, “Godman under a cloud” in India’s most prestigious fortnightly English language news magazine, FRONTLINE by clicking at: > http://www.hinduonnet.com/fline/fl1926/stories/20030103003404000.htm  < Also look at  Chandigarh Tribune newspaper dated April 10, 2007, (headlined, “Murder case against Sirsa Dera chief.”) by clicking   at the following link: > http://www.tribuneindia.com/2007/20070410/haryana.htm#24   < It is obvious the ‘Sacha’ Sauda Dera (commune) has nothing to do with the egalitarian tenets of the Sikh religion (which believes in ‘Sarbat da bhalla’ and do not believe in any ‘god-man’) and has everything to do with the practice of ‘free love’ and the lucrative trade of human organs and human blood. The organs/blood are donated by the Dera’s gullible, and mostly poor, followers, brain-washed under the warped logic of the Sirsa Dera management, and its leader, which states that, “why does a poor person need two eyes or two kidneys, why not sell one of them to earn much needed thousands of rupees?” As the Sirsa Dera does not officially solicit monitory donations this organ trade is its’ main source of income supplemented by free labor on it’s agricultural lands and covert donations from Indian intelligence agencies who are interested in the ‘Sacha’ Sauda Dera’s potential of injecting subversive influence among the ‘unwashed’ Punjabis, some of them poor and gullible Sikhs.

The spontaneous and instantaneous angry country-wide Sikh reaction – angry protests in numerous towns and cities - to the murder of Balkar Singh in Mumbai, belittles the Indian dezinformatsiya that Sikh struggle for their distinct identity, right of self-determination and Khalistani nationhood is dead. It is anybody’s guess as to the direction this pent up volcanological anger of the Sikh community will take in the days ahead. But, one thing is certain, that the angry (and  muscular) twenty three million Sikh minority, presently captive, exploited and beleaguered in India, (but backed by the FREE, prosperous and vociferous three million strong Sikh diaspora domiciled all over the world) has no intention of remaining under the heels of the world’s largest caste-ridden demoNcracy run by an evil nexus of the Brahmin and the Bania. The Sikhs have not given up their national goals and their daily prayer of ‘Raj Karayga Khalsa’ – they NEVER will. They are marching ahead towards the aim of creating a democratic, egalitarian, buffer state of Khalistan, in the Sikh Homeland, some day, located West of the Jumna river and East of the Pakistan border.  A buffer state which is destined to act as a bridge of trade, commerce and Oil/Gas pipelines between Pakistan, the six land-locked, but Oil and Gas-rich, Stans (Afghanistan, Kazakhistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan) of Central Asia and the seven South Asian countries of Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, Sri Lanka and India.
