Washington DC: March 13, 2002 : Following the recent bloody riots and pogroms a la Nazi Germany and Rawanda, nay 'lab experimemnts', orchestrated by the BJP-run Gujarat state administration in India, the Sikhs living as minorities in various Indian states ought to arm and organize themselves, fortify their homes and places of worship, offer protection to the disenfranchised Christian, Muslim and Dalit minorities and pay close attention to the crowing of Swastika-worshipping Hindu fundamentalists who are currently strutting on the Indian political stage trumpeting a road map for the one billion unfortunate people who have been captive since 1947 in an unjust, stone-age, rascal-ruled, caste-ridden Brahmin-fundamentalist dominated entity - India - which Castocracy is going no where and has as much claim to be called a country (Mr. Winston Churchill) as the Equator. The Gujarat riots are the brgining of the end of Bharat Mata!
Readers may recall that the recent state-sponsored massacres of the Muslim minority in the Indian state of Gujarat - a minority known not only for its trading skills but also for its timidity - were started on February 27, 2002 after a false rumour was purposely circulated, (by none other than the Godhra district administrator, one Jayanti Ravi) that a mob of 2,000 Muslims had torched four bogies of the Sabarmati Express at the Godhra railway station carrying World Hindu Council (VHP) workers and their families who were returning from Ayodhia killing 58 men women and children. For an expose which nails this horrible lie please go to the following link on the internet to read the March 06, 2002, Khalistan Calling, headlined, "Sikhs question the Truth about the socalled Feb. 27 Muslim mob attack on the train in Godhra,"see: <http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/main/k_calling/kc03062002.htm> As a result of this horrible lie nearly two thousand members of the unarmed Muslim minority, living in small pockets all over Gujarat, were murdered/raped/burnt (and nearly a hundred thousand more were herded into refugee camps - 'ethnically cleansed') by rampaging Hindu mobs mustered and led by Gujarat state officials a la the November 1984 pogroms in Delhi and other towns which targetted India's Sikh minority and massacred thousands of Sikh men, women and children all over India.
TV images of the Gujarat holocaust (and the above presciently words of wisdom spoken by that great British statesman, Mr. Winston Churchill, sixty years ago) seem to be now ringing in the ears of people like Celia W. Dugger, the distinguished New York Times South Asia correspondent and other American and European journalists. She, like many other learned Westerners, had believed the Hindu dezinformatsiya that India was the world's largest 'democracy' obviously impressed by the imposing British-built circular assembly (Lok Sabha) building in British-built New Delhi. Celia Dugger deserves our salute for airing her doubts at this point in time, in an excellent, Ahmedabad-datelined, article (published in the New York Times on Sunday, March 10, 2002) headlined, "Gandhi's Dream and India's Latest Nightmare".
In her March 10 New York Times article Dugger writes, "But recent images of rampaging Hindu mobs torching Muslim neighborhoods in the Hindu nationalist-dominated state of Gujarat - and of the charred bodies of Muslim children burned alive in those attacks - have again raised profound questions about what the movement (the Swastika-worshipping, Hindu nationalism once a pariah movement associated with the 1948 assassination of Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi alias 'Mahatama' Gandhi) stands for and where its political wing, the Bharatiya Janata Party, is leading the world's largest 'democracy' and second most populous nation. Fundamentalism and its violent excesses, themes that leaders of the ruling party have used so effectively against Pakistan, are now boomeranging. If thuggish elements in the party's Hindu nationalist family are not quickly controlled, Hindu-Muslim violence that weakens India's unity and secular foundations could spread." Ms. Dugger for some reason forgot the Sikh, Dalit and Christian minorities who have also been targetted by Hindu thugs from time to time since 1947 when the British Colonials quit South Asia in haste after World War 11. She also did not mention, perhaps she was being polite, that the Gujarat murders are the begining of the end of the world's largest Castocracy. which we Sikhs have been predicting for some time.
Dugger goes on to wisely observe that, "Hindu nationalism now confronts the conflicting imperatives of governing a nation as astonishingly diverse as India in the secular traditions enshrined in its Constitution and, at the same time, satisfying its committed political and ideological followers who deeply believe that India is a "Hindu rashra" - a Hindu nation. The movement is made up of affiliated organizations led by the mothership of Hindu nationalism, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or the National Volunteers Association, universally known here as the R.S.S. The Bharatiya Janata Party handles politics, while the World Hindu Council promotes Hindism. There are many others, as well. These groups have millions of members who believe India's Christians and Muslims (and Sikhs) were once Hindus who converted to "foreign" religions and must now accept the primacy of their ancestral Hindu heritage."
Currently India is being ruled by a BJP dominated coalition. And BJP is the political wing of 70-plus Hindu organizations, known as the Sangh Parivar and Pundit Atall Bihari Vajpayee is its weak-kneed 'polite and smiling' face. The Sangh Parivar, as all these morally repugnant, Swastika-worshipping Hindu thugs like to be called, is lead by the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh or RSS which, in the words of French researcher Christophe Jaffrelot, finds a rapport with the European fascist movements (Nazis, Filange, Mussolini's Black-shirts, Skin-heads, Brown-shirts etc., etc.,) that stressed discipline, a martial spirit and an intolerance towards the Jewish, Gypsy and other minorities. The Sangh Parivar is strongly committed to converting India into a theocratic HINDU Aryan state, a la Nazi Germany, based on the fascist Swastika-worshipping philosophy of Hinduvta.
What the Hindu state will look like for its minorities oozes out of two recently published interviews granted after the Gujarat pogroms by Haraeshbhai Bhatt, Central Vice-president of the Bajrang Dal, (who setup that organization in India's Gujarat state in the 80's) and Professor Keshavram Kashiram Shastri, the 96-years old chairman of the Gujarat unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) a scholor of Mahabharat and highly respected literary figure.
The former, Haraeshbhai Bhatt, told India's leading weekly news magazine (OUTLOOK- March 18, 2002 issue) that, "Gujarat has been the birthplace of many political movements and the latest round of killings marks the begining of a Hindu revitalization movement. People wanted their revenge for Godhra and they got it." The socalled highly respected literary figure, Professor Keshavram Kashiram Shastri, chairman of the Gujarat VHP told Rediff.com in a taped interview posted yesterday (March 11, 2002) that the rioters were "kalvayela Hindu Chokra - well-bred Hindu boys". When asked why they did it? He responded, "Karvun jay Pade, Karvun jay Pade (it had to be done, it had to be done). Rediff.com reports that the Professor admitted that people had been burnt, mosques raized and shops looted but argued that all that had been done in a "frenzy". The 'learned' Professor Shastri predicted that, and we quote verbatim, that, "There will be a war. So much poison has spread that it is difficult to contain it now." When asked how he a scholar and a litterateur, could condone innocents being burnt alive he remarked,"We don't believe the boys have done something wrong because this was the result of an outburst." Some outburst! Some sick thinking!
In a copycat performance of the February 27 malicious mischief of the Godhra administrator, bindi-adorned Punditani Ms. Jayanti Ravi, (under cover of which Ms. Ravi circulated a falsehood of a Muslim mob torching four bogies of the Sabarmati Express train which white lie caused communal riots and cost two thousand innocent Muslim lives in state-sponsored pogroms in Gujarat) the Indian Consul General in New York, one Ms. Shashi Tripathi, also a 'pucca' Hindu lady (with a 'bindi' on her forehead but mischief and malice on her heart) caused a commotion and an angry division - because of her remarks and her unwanted presence - on Sunday March 10, 2002, among the grieving East Coast Sikhs gathered for a solemn memorial service for the recently burnt down Richmond Hill New York Gurdwara Sahib. We urge the U.S. State department to curb the fascist Hinduvta (and divide and rule) activities of Indian diplomats on sacred U.S. and Canadian soils. These so called Indian diplomats are agents provocateurs, who are bent on creating mischief in the North American Sikh community and are apt to forget that democratic North America is NOT India and that they will NEVER be able to divide and rule the three milion strong prosperous Sikh diaspora who are determined to peacefully create an egalitarian, democratic, Sikh buffer state of Khalistan, stretching from the Jumna river on the East to the Pakistan border on the West, centered around the Sikh homeland of Indian occupied Punjab.
