Washington DC: July 17, 2002 : Following the latest July 13 Qasim Nagar massacre in Jammu, everyone in Kashmir, including the poor lower caste (beggars, rag-pickers and labourers) Bihari Hindu victims - 27 dead - believes that the Saturday night Qasim Nagar Hindu massacre, (which was supposed to have been 'synchronized' with the July 18 India/Pakistan visit of the British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw a la the March 2000 Chitthisinghpura Sikh massacre which was synchronized with President Clinton's visit to India) was an inside job gone wrong as some Indian 'agencies' jumped the gun' and did not coordinate the dastardly act of Indian state-sponsored terror.
According to Indian press reports three half-naked assailants armed with AK-47 rifles and hand grenades, dressed in saffron-coloured robes of Hindu 'holy' men, who the Indian media suggests were really 'Islamic' militants, (how the Indian media came to that conclusion that they were 'Islamic' without disrobing them was not explained?) burst into a shanty-town Qasim Nagar - also called Kranti Nagar and sometimes Rajiv Nagar - situated 2 miles from Jummu city on the army-patrolled strategic Jammu-Srinagar highway, on the night of Saturday July 13 and massacred 27 Hindu men, including two blind beggars, 13 women and a child, in cold blood. Thirty one were injured in the incident, according to a later report in the Times of India. After the massacre the 'Hindu holy men' made good their escape like the killers who executed 35 innocent Chitthisinghpura Sikhs in March 2000 when President Bill Clinton was visiting India.
The Independent newspaper of London, in a typical British under-statement, in a July 15 Delhi-datelined dispatch about the last weekend's state-sponsored Jummu massacre, reported, and we quote verbatim, that, "Despite the presence of armed police at a highway checkpoint - barely a hundred meters away from the scene of the massacre - the militants had a free run through the slum before escaping into a forest, which was being searched by Indian troops yesterday." The Independant newspaper went on to reveal that, "Panicked residents, in darkness because the authorities had not repaired a transformer (was it deliberate?) that burnt down a week ago, were sitting ducks as the militants (read half-naked Hindu holy men) ran through the alleyways, throwing grenades into homes and shooting people on sight. 'Some of us ran to the policemen at the highway checkpoint and asked for help, but they refused to come, saying that the officer-incharge was not here.' the residents said and added that when the police did arrive they fired indiscriminately in the dark adding to the the death toll." End quote.
According to a report (headlined, "Panic in the dark as slum is attacked") the London newspaper Independant, and also confirmed by other newspapers and witnessed by our sources, the angry survivors of the massacre had blocked the Jammu-Srinagar highway and have heckled government leaders and police officials who had come to review the carnage on Sunday which included L. K. Advani, the newly appointed Deputy Prime minister. (<http://www.independent.co.uk/story.jsp?story=315087>) Advani also heads the Home (read police) ministry and its umpteen intelligence agencies (who are known to master-mind 'synchronized terror events') and is overall responsible for Indian occupied Kashmir. Mr. Advani, (whose has just published his admiration for Adolph Hitler and Mein Kamph in a book titled, "A Prisoner's Scrap Book" likes his subordinates to address him as 'Patel ji' to boost his ego as it compares him to a well known founding father, Vallabhai Patel) tried, according to the Independent, to address the agitated crowd (near Qasim Nagar) on a loud-hailer, but the people were in no mood to listen. They shouted slogans against the police and railed against the government that 'they are all thieves and scoundrals' to 'Patelji's' face. The Independent report went on to conclude that, "After weeks of relative calm in a dispute between India and Pakistan over Kashmir that brought them to the brink of nuclear war, fears could rise again although yesterday both sides appeared to be avoiding an immidiate escalation."
In the meantime the Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Student's Federation in a statement from Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, expressed their anguish and outrage and condemned the Qasim Nagar massacre. The statment accused the Abdullah government of failing to provide protection to the poor and urged the central government to initiate a dialogue with the genuine representatives of Kashmir who have mass support to resolve the vexed issue.
Our sources report that the timing and modus operandi of the armed 'Hindu holy men' who carried out the massacre of lower caste Hindus, (beggars, rag-pickers and labourers), all immigrants from Bihar and UP, suggests (and the Times of India in a July 15 editorial surprisingly agrees) that the killing was meant to coincide with the visits of high level British and US officials to South Asia in the run-up to elections in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir. Ofcourse, the Times of India and our sources in Jammu do not agree as to who masterminded the massacre. The London newspaper Independant however, in an editorial yesterday, headlined, "India's share of the blame for the killing in Kashmir", (<http://argument.independent.co.uk/leading_articles/story.jsp?story=315020>) blamed Vajpayee. It wrote, and we quote verbatim, that, " Mr Vajpayee has shamelessly used the Kashmir issue - and George Bush's rhetorical war on terrorism - to stoke Hindu nationalism, the electoral motor of his failing party. Refusing to acknowledge the roots of the Kashmir problem - the fact that its people have never been allowed the right of self-determination - he seeks every excuse to accuse the Pakistanis of aggression. This posture of fake righteousness was exposed early last month when the Pakistanis shot down an Indian spy plane in Punjab. Paradoxically, the real ally of the terrorists is India's Prime Minister, who must share some of their responsibility for provoking nationalist and sectarian hatreds. Within hours of Saturday's atrocity, his Foreign Minister was accusing Pakistan of 'inspiring' it. A more honest appraisal would lay some of the blame closer to home." End Quote. We could not have analyzed the situation better!
We have our fingers crossed as our sources in Jammu & Kashmir are reporting that another 'incident' might be brewing in the fertile mind of some uniformed Brahmin which would see L. K. Advani's intelligence agencies using their state-sponsored 'Storm Troopers' in action again. The 'incident', between now and the 27th of July, might be synchronized with US Secretrary of State General Collin Powel's visit to South Asia. We hope and pray that this prediction turns out to be wrong (<http://www.khalistan-affairs.org/main/k_calling/kc03132002.htm> <) but never-the-less we urge our compatriots, the Kashmiri Sikhs, to be on the alert as it might be there turn to be victimized again a la the March 2000 Chitthisinghpura Sikh massacre and three other state-sponsored anti/Sikh 'incidents' in Kashmir there after.
Indian Sikhs in general, and Kashmiri Sikhs in particular, should always remember that they are captive inside the worlds largest fascist castocracy - India - and are being misruled, since August 15, 1947, by a morally repugnant, Swastika-worshipping Brahmin-caste corrupt minority - no more than 5% of the population. It is therefore important that every Sikh man, woman and child remembers the immortal words of that great English writer and physician Thomas Fuller M.D. (1654-1734) who wrote in his 1732 book Gnomologia that, "Threatened folks live long". SIKHS BEWARE!
